Data Analytics Role & It’s importance

Data is the foundation of the Digital Age. Data is information of the online world. Each and every click, word, letter, image, video, blog, document is data. To store this info and manage it online is what is the role of a data analyst.  It is a science of extracting patterns, trends and actionable information from large sets of data.
One would map and trace data from system to system in order to solve a given business or system problem, design and create data reports and reporting tools to help business representatives in decision making.

A data analyst would:

Perform logical data modelling
Will identify patterns in data
Designs and create reports


The data analyst role would commonly involve the following roles:

·         Documenting the types and structure of the business data (logical modeling)

·         Analyzing and mining business data to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points

·         Mapping and tracing data from system to system in order to solve a given business or system problem
